Notes
'Dinner Plate' peony (Paeonia 'Dinner Plate') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The huge double flowers are medium pink with tints of salmon, and they are fragrant. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Stella de Oro daylily, and Black Hero tulip.
