Notes

'Discovered Treasure' iris (Iris 'Discovered Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and the fragrant flowers attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. This iris is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Columbine, Album nettle-leaved mullein, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
