'Dream of You' iris (Iris 'Dream of You') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant flowers draw butterflies.
Pairs well with Columbine, Album nettle-leaved mullein, and Ice Follies daffodil.
