Notes

'Durango Tangerine' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Durango Tangerine') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The orange blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies and hummingbirds. Plants stay compact and tolerate drought. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Rubenza cosmos, Old Mexico zinnia, and Red fescue.
