Notes
'Dvppinky' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Dvppinky') is a shrub for borders, hedges, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The two-toned white and pink blooms open in early to late summer, and bees visit them. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give the arching shrub room to reach 6 to 8 feet tall.
Pairs well with American cranberrybush, Western sword fern, and Polish Spirit clematis.
