Notes

Dwarf Siberian pine (Pinus pumila) is an evergreen tree for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It does not flower, and it grows from 12 to 108 inches tall. It can spread from 24 to 144 inches wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Pincushion flower.
