Notes

'Glauca' dwarf Siberian pine (Pinus pumila 'Glauca') is an evergreen shrub for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It stays compact at about 35 to 47 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. You can tuck it into a spot that needs year-round color.

Pairs well with Gertrude Jekyll rose, Poppy mallow, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
