Notes

'Early Giant' grape hyacinth (Muscari 'Early Giant') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The flowers are deep cobalt blue with a distinct white rim. They open from early to late spring and attract butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Blue fescue, and Kansas peony.
