Notes

'Early Glow' peony (Paeonia 'Early Glow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, fragrant, single flowers open light yellow and age to cream, with crimson stigmas. Side buds stretch the bloom into midseason. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Golden Tiara hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
