Notes

'Early Windflower' peony (Paeonia 'Early Windflower') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant white flowers have yellow centers and nod slightly on tall stems above fern-like leaves. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Minuteman hosta, Magnus coneflower, Black Hero tulip, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
