Notes
'Edith Bosley' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Edith Bosley') is a shrub for informal hedges, accents, foundation plantings, and mass plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil. Large, rounded trusses of purple flowers with magenta flushes open in early to late spring and attract bees. Rabbits tend to pass it by. You can prune it after flowering.
Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Allegheny serviceberry, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
