Notes
'Europe' iris (Iris 'Europe') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flower displays. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 26 inches tall and bears blue-violet blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Juno bred this iris.
Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Feather reed grass, and Amsonia.
