Notes

'Everest' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Everest') is an evergreen shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. White flowers with a greenish-yellow blotch open in early to late spring. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 48 to 60 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Woodland phlox, Elegans hosta, and Lady fern.
