Notes
'Expansa Aureospicata' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Expansa Aureospicata') is a shrub for ground cover, accent, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It stays 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 48 to 84 inches wide, so give it room. It is evergreen, and it tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Cherry, and Mountain mint.
