Notes

'Fatima' oriental poppy (Papaver orientale 'Fatima') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flower use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. The white blooms have pink edges and open in spring and summer. It forms a clump up to 30 inches tall and attracts bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Paprika yarrow, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
