Notes

'Fireworks' Chinese dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Fireworks') is a tree for specimen use, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Soft pink bracts show up from early to late spring, and bees and birds visit the tree. Deer tend to pass it by. Growth is slow, so give it room to reach its full size.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Limelight hydrangea, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
