Notes

'Flamenco' apple (Malus domestica 'Flamenco') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. This apple is grown for fresh eating. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second apple nearby for pollination, and bees visit the spring blooms. East Malling Research Station bred it in the 1970s.

Pairs well with Rhubarb, Garlic chives, and New Jersey tea.
