Flamenco trumpet honeysuckle

Notes

'Flamenco' trumpet honeysuckle (Campsis radicans 'Flamenco') is a vine for covering walls, fences, and arbors, and for attracting hummingbirds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Large orange red flowers open in panicles from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. It clings to surfaces by aerial roots and spreads by underground runners, so give it room to ramble and edge the bed.

Pairs well with Ocean spray, White spruce, and Marsh mallow.
