Notes

'Flava' trumpet honeysuckle (Campsis radicans 'Flava') is a vine for borders, pollinator gardens, and xeriscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Orange-yellow flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn, and hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows rapidly, so give it a sturdy support.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Prairie dropseed, and Flowering quince.
