Notes

'Florence Nicholls' peony (Paeonia 'Florence Nicholls') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large, fragrant double blooms are blush white with a scarlet suffusion, and strong upright stems hold them well. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Jesse Nicholls bred it.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
