Fluffy peony

Notes

'Fluffy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Fluffy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roy G. Klehm bred it. Large, fragrant white blooms have a smooth double row of guard petals, and mature flowers look fluffy. Strong stems hold the blooms up on plants about 30 inches tall.

Pairs well with Nepeta, False Solomon's seal, Picture tulip, and Ageratum.
