Notes

'Fort Hill' moss phlox (Phlox subulata 'Fort Hill') is a perennial for rock gardens, ground cover, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It forms a creeping, evergreen mat that spreads 12 to 24 inches. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms in early to late spring. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Gold dust, and Bressingham Ruby bergenia.
