Notes
'Fortunei Aureomarginata' hosta (Hosta 'Fortunei Aureomarginata') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant lavender flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Coralbells, Sedge, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
