Notes

'Four Seasons' forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Four Seasons') is a shrub for borders, containers, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays dense and evergreen, and its fragrant blooms open in spring, summer, and autumn. Bees and birds visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Star jasmine, Calla lily, Little Gem southern magnolia, and Mexican petunia.
