Notes

'Fuji-Arashi' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Fuji-Arashi') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears single white blooms that you can cut for a vase indoors. Plant it in a border where the white flowers stand out. Yokohama Nursery Co., Ltd introduced it in 1893.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Christmas fern, and Grape hyacinth.
