Notes

'Gabisan' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Gabisan') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears white flowers that you can cut for a vase or leave to brighten the border. Yokohama Nursery Co., Ltd introduced it in 1898.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Wild ginger, Sedge, and Greig's tulip.
