Notes

'Garden Treasure' peony (Paeonia 'Garden Treasure') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The fragrant yellow blooms have red flares and attract butterflies and bees. Don Hollingsworth bred it in 1984.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Globemaster allium, and Purple cranesbill.
