Notes

'G’Day Mate' peony (Paeonia 'G’Day Mate') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are semi-double to single and amber yellow with rose edges and red flares. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Dr. Bernard Chow bred it.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Blue fescue, David garden phlox, and Mock orange.
