Notes
'Geisha' hosta (Hosta 'Geisha') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads at least 24 inches, so give it room. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Astilbe.
