Notes
'General Faidherbe' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'General Faidherbe') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Adrien Sénéclauze bred it. Cut a few blooms for a vase, and let the woody stems stand through winter.
Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Sedge, and Star magnolia.
