Notes

'Giselle' clematis (Clematis 'Giselle') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The pink blooms have darker edges and purple anthers, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Mogens Nyegaard Olesen bred it, and Raymond Evison Clematis introduced it in 2013.

Pairs well with Armenian cranesbill, Catmint, and Paperbark maple.
