Notes

'Gold Plate' fern-leaf yarrow (Achillea filipendulina 'Gold Plate') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies and bees visit the yellow flowers of this clumping plant, which grows fast and reaches 48 to 60 inches tall. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Give each clump room to spread.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Ernest Markham clematis.
