Notes

'Golden Magic' forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Golden Magic') is a shrub for borders, containers, specimen planting, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays dense and evergreen, and bees and birds visit the fragrant blooms in spring and summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it acid to neutral soil for the best growth.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Calla lily, Lemongrass, and Labyrinth dahlia.
