Notes

'Golden Mandarin' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Mandarin') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The single flowers are old gold with deep wine flares. They open from spring into early summer and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Niobe clematis, Grape hyacinth, Christmas fern, and Ox-eye daisy.
