Notes
'Grace' smoketree (Cotinus 'Grace') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is drought tolerant once settled in, and butterflies visit it. It grows about 146 to 181 inches tall and wide, so give it room. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Coronation Gold yarrow, Lucifer montbretia, and Katsura tree.
