Notes
'Grand Teton' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Grand Teton') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each strong stem holds one large, cupped flower well above the leaves. The white blooms start with a pink tint and grow large purple flares on each petal. Harold Entsminger bred it.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Pink Impression tulip, Ostrich fern, and Weigela.
