Notes
'Grandiflora superba' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Grandiflora superba') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms are rose-pink with silvery shading, so they stand out in a mixed border. You can also cut them for a vase indoors. Modeste Guérin bred it.
Pairs well with Weigela, Clematis, Christmas fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
