Notes

'Gran's Favourite' carnation (Dianthus 'Gran's Favourite') is a perennial for borders, low maintenance beds, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The fragrant flowers draw butterflies and bees. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Lavender, Early Sunrise largeflower tickseed, Deep Blue Clips tussock bellflower, and Feather reed grass.
