Notes

Grape honeysuckle (Lonicera reticulata) is a shrub for cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Orange and yellow flowers open in late spring and again in early to late summer. They draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Jackmanii clematis, Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, False indigo, and Lily.
