Notes
'Greenspire' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Greenspire') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast and has an arching shape. Butterflies and bees visit the summer blooms.
Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Arendsii azure monkshood, and Royal Purple smoketree.
