Notes

'Gypsy Lord' iris (Iris 'Gypsy Lord') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 35 to 47 inches tall, so place it behind lower plants.

Pairs well with Dusky Challenger iris, Columbine, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
