Notes

'Harlequin' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Harlequin') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The clumping plants grow 24 to 36 inches tall, and butterflies and hummingbirds visit the brown, copper, yellow, orange, and red blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer. Drought tolerance makes it easy to keep.

Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cornflower, and Cosmos.
