Notes
'Harlequin' montbretia (Crocosmia crocosmiiflora 'Harlequin') is a bulb for cut flowers, borders, and hummingbird gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Red and orange buds open to warm yellow flowers, so each stem shows two or three colors. The upright, lance-shaped leaves add a vertical accent.
Pairs well with Fountain grass, Japanese spirea, and Grape hyacinth.
