Notes

'Hermione' peony (Paeonia 'Hermione') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large double pink blooms smell sweet and look much like Sarah Bernhardt. Tall straight stems hold the flowers up well. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Black Hero tulip, and Western sword fern.
