Notes

'Hollyhock' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Hollyhock') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 12 inches tall and blooms in early to late spring. The flowers are fragrant and attract bees.

Pairs well with Woodstock common hyacinth, White Splendour Greek thimbleweed, and Couleur Cardinal tulip.
