Notes

'Blue Moon' honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea 'Blue Moon') is a shrub for hedges, food gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White fragrant flowers open in spring and again in summer. Birds visit the plant.

Pairs well with Abbotswood shrubby cinquefoil, Siberian squill, and Drumstick primrose.
