Notes

'Honora' clematis (Clematis 'Honora') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, privacy screens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It bears purple flowers with darker centers, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Mrs. A. Edwards bred it as a sport of 'Gypsy Queen'.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Magnus coneflower, and Catmint.
