Notes

'Intermedia Impress Purple' lavender (Lavandula intermedia 'Intermedia Impress Purple') is an herb for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant evergreen foliage forms a mound 24 to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Tennessee coneflower, Silver feather grass, and Shasta daisy.
