Notes
'Jane' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Jane') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows fast, and its arching form reaches 3 to 5 feet tall and wide. Green blooms mature to pink-burgundy and attract bees.
Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Western sword fern, and Carlton daffodil.
