Notes

'Janet Blair' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Janet Blair') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Pinkish mauve flowers with golden rays on the upper lobe appear in early to late spring. The blooms are fragrant and attract hummingbirds and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Lady fern, First Frost hosta, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
